A Date That Feels Like a Getaway — Without Leaving St. Louis

You know the feeling. You want to do something actually memorable, not another restaurant reservation where you’re home by nine.

Forest Park is already one of the great urban parks in America. It has the St. Louis Art Museum, The Muny, paddle boats on Post-Dispatch Lake, and some of the best view-to-skyline ratios in the city.

A Forest Park Picnic turns all of that into the backdrop. Wander the Art Museum first, catch a Muny show after, or just sit on a blanket and do nothing at all — with a three-course meal in front of you and zero logistics to manage.

Minimum effort. Maximum romance.
